Perry will be back home in Tacoma for his summer break and will be helping out with sacramental ministries at St. Leo and Sacred Heart for the month of June and the first half of July. You may remember that Perry celebrated his Mass of Thanksgiving at St. Leo last July. 

Fr. Perry Petrich, S.J. was born and raised in Tacoma, Washington and ordained a priest in July of 2020.  A trained educator, Perry has worked in Jesuit schools in a half-dozen states.  Most recently, he served at the Cristo Rey high school in Oakland, California and he currently teaches Theology at Jesuit High School in Sacramento. He entered the Jesuits in Portland, Oregon in 2008 and holds degrees in theatre from Fordham University, social philosophy from Loyola University Chicago, and divinity from Jesuit School of Theology of Santa Clara University in Berkeley.  He is currently studying Catholic Educational Leadership at the University of San Francisco.  In his spare time, he enjoys playing music, reading, writing, running, and learning how to garden.
